A 2012 vintage cognac from Petite Champagne, by the house of Normandin-Mercier. All the eaux-de-vie in this decanter come from the 2012 harvest alone and from a single cru, Petite Champagne.
Straw yellow with pale gold highlights. On the nose, pear, prune, orange zest and almond, then vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate, a frank attack of pear, a softer, fruity and floral middle, and a warm finish of spice, liquorice, vanilla and chocolate.
