A Très Vieille Grande Champagne from Normandin-Mercier, from the first cru of the appellation, 100 years old.
According to the certificate signed by Edouard Normandin, it is a living example of the work of the founder, Jules Normandin-Mercier, in 1872: a blend of eaux-de-vie from before the phylloxera crisis, aged for more than a century in the house's cellars.
Golden copper colour with glints of mahogany. A nose of extreme richness, with spicy and empyreumatic notes (cinnamon, vanilla, liquorice, saffron) and a very fine rancio. On the palate, an explosion of aromas and an especially long finish.
Numbered bottle, in limited quantity, delivered in its wooden case with the house certificate. For any question, write to us at info@dermolia.ch.
